What

The ranch was built in 1928 by famed architect Wallace Neff in his signature Spanish Colonial Revival style which makes for a very charming and inspiring space to celebrate. On top of the architecture, it offers a rare unspoiled view of California’s rich cultural and historic resources with acres sprawling grass and big ol’ trees to provide shade.

Who

Originally established by King Gillette – yes, the founder of Gillette razors – it changed ownership over the years and was most recently owned by a cult that was dismantled in 1989. It was also the location where The Biggest Loser was filmed and housed. Quite an interesting historical past!

What to Wear

We’d love to see our family and friends get dressed up for our big day! The dress code is garden semi-formal.

Options may include suits, dressy jumpsuits, pantsuits, matching sets, tailored separates, and any dress in spring colors, luxe fabrics, & chic silhouettes. You’re encouraged to play with pops of color or floral details as well to lean into the venue vibes and garden aspect of it all.

Please do:

  1. Pair your look with playful shoes that are comfortable in grass and dancing. Consider flats or wedges instead of heels as we do not want you to get stuck in the grass!

  2. It can get warm in the sun and cool without, so we encourage you to wear light layers and bring a jacket for the evening.

Please don’t:

  1. Wear overly casual attire: leave the jeans, t-shirts, and sneakers at home.

  2. No bowties: we are reserving these for the Groom and wedding party. If you want a more elevated accessory, think about wearing a colorful or patterned tie and even a bolo tie.
